Mockup pages (can be photoshop/gimp or html) for the homepage for a ticket exchange website:
The page needs to contain the following components:
- heading banner with logo and artwork
- a search bar (which would drop down as text is entered in the live site)
- Links for Home, Register, My Account, About us, FAQ, Help
- Couple lines of text about the site
- Navigation for Sports, Concerts, Theatre, Other events - when
clicked they would expand to list event types - ie for Sports - Football,
Golf, Rugby. Show football entry expanded. Possibly duplicated navigation, eg:
list on left and tabs across screen
- Search by date (a calendar or indication it would
open a calendar)
- Search by venue
- (large) featured event area with image (football match)
- lists of top events for Sports, Concerts, Theatre, Other events
- A clear section for How it works, with links underneath for Buying
guide, Selling guide, Ticket Assure
- A language selection option
There are a number of existing ticket exchange sites (for example
viagogo, getmein and seatwave), most of which have a very similar
set of functionality. While we do not want a copy of any existing
site, it probably makes sense to be aware of some of the approaches
already used.
There is a lot of content that needs to be put into this page, but it needs to fit together well, so your bid or PM *must* include a link to at least one example of your previous work which contains a similar amount of content in a similar style to the above listed exchange sites.
This is an urgent project and we will need initial mockups on monday.
